<p>I've run across that warning before. Haven't experienced any side effects that I'm aware of.</p>

<p class="MsoNormal" style="margin-bottom:12.0pt">RPMForge has the perl-Locale-SubCountry yum package, version 1.41. You might try that before getting too carried away with a second perl install.<br><br>Grab the appropriate yum repo RPM from here - <a href="http://pkgs.repoforge.org/rpmforge-release/" target="_blank">http://pkgs.repoforge.org/rpmforge-release/</a> (you're looking for EL6).<br>
